Monday Night Dinner

Menu: Steak, Baked Potato, and Green Beans

I made the Baked Potato in the Microwave. Seven Minutes in a baggie with holes cut in it.

DH grilled the steaks with a little Worcester Sauce & Soy Sauce. These were the best steaks that DH has ever grilled...Yummy!

I also made green beans with a little crisco, brown sugar, and vinegar. I have never used vinegar, but DH said that he grandfather always put a splash in the pan.

Paisley

Our puppy Paisley made the trip to Morgantown to spend the weekend playing with her cousin Fozzy Bear Shaffer. (Paisley is in the front)

WVU FOOTBALL!!!

DH and I got season tickets for WVU Football this year. I hate the trip (4 hours for every game), but I love the games. I had been very lax with taking pictures at the past games so I decided to take a few. I love the band, so most of my pictures are of their formations, because the football players look so small in my pictures. I really need to get a better camera, because the players look much bigger in real life.

Jamestown/Yorktown

Here are some pictures of my tours of Jamestown and Yorktown. There were about 50 of us that went down for this tour. It was a really long day, but it was worth it!! I totally want to go back sometime and spend more than a day there.

Off-Roading

So, my blog has really had nothing to do with cooking, but here are some pictures from this past weekends off-roading adventure. I love doing all sorts of crazy hill climbs (only because they look so cool in pictures). My real love though is MUD!!!

I wish that this was my jeep, but I am glad that I was not the one covered in mud!!!

Kitchen Art

I finally took time to hang the wall art that I received for my bridal shower. I feel like a horrible person because I have had these since May and have done nothing with them. I hope that they help my teeny tiny little kitchen look more like a Italian Bistro.

My First Blog Post

I decided that I needed to jump on the blog bandwagon. I loved looking at everyone's recipes and different stuff.

I am hoping that my blog with be about for different culinary escapades and also the different adventures that DH and I enter into with trying to fix up our townhouse.
